Margaret Mueller, Ph.D.
BOARD MEMBER
Margaret Mueller, Ph.D., currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Executives’ Club of Chicago, the nexus for connecting and growing the region’s business leaders. In this role, she oversees the strategic direction and operations of more than 100 programs annually for 16,000 executives. She is also an Operating Partner at Tilia Holdings, a PE firm focused on building distinctive middle market service companies across the food supply chain. Mueller leads the firm’s innovation and customer growth by developing innovation and go to market strategies that deepen relationships with food industry ecosystem stakeholders at large, as well as for specific portfolio companies with their end customers. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the immediate past president of the University of Chicago Alumni Board, a Trustee of the Associated Colleges of Illinois, serves as a Board Director for EverFresh Fruit Co. and the Lurie Children's Hospital Foundation, and as an Advisory Board member of First Women’s Bank and NEXT Integrative Minds Life Sciences. She also participates as a member of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Young Presidents Organization (YPO), The Chicago Network, Commercial Club of Chicago, Economic Club of Chicago, and International Women’s Forum. She has been named to the list of “Who’s Who in Chicago” and resides in Chicago with her husband and twin sons.
