Our Mission
Chicago Vibrant Neighborhoods Collective (CVNC) works to build healthy, vibrant communities in historically disinvested neighborhoods by strengthening small and medium homegrown community-based organizations (CBOs) with a suite of tools, resources, and opportunities for collaboration that increase nonprofit sustainability and promote collective impact.

How We Work
Operating on the premise that homegrown community-based organizations are vital tools in building vibrant, healthy and safe communities, CVNC seeks to provide a menu of back office supports such as budgeting and finance, data analytics, fundraising and diversification, marketing and communications, board development and more to assist CBOs in fulfilling their vital missions.
We work with CBO clients to co-design individual support plans. CBOs are then matched with subject matter experts who provide sustained support to identify milestones and execute a plan to reach customized goals. We are developing a portfolio of technical assistance offerings that will be free to client CBOs, along with a modest stipend to support participation in the work.
